Skin of Our Teeth
Conceptual Design
The entirety of human history lies in books written by man. We compartmentalize history into packets of information that follow a set of facts that are agreed upon and reinforced through time. As time passes, those facts are stripped of color and subtlety and broken down and stored in sheets of information or bits on a computer. The set for "Skin of Our Teeth" physically creates vignettes of history that are stored away in crates and opened as necessary for the plot of the show. It's world is a warehouse microcosm for the entire breadth of the human experience.
